I'm considering swapping out my '01 IRS for a solid axle. I need to know where I can purchase a complete or almost complete rear-end for my car. I would like to get a '99 or up and if possible a mach-1 rear-end. Any help would be appreciated.

There was a GT owner here in the SVT forums just a couple weeks ago looking to swap his 8.8 for an IRS. Try posing in one of the regional or national classified areas.

Ford Racing catalog sells the complete axle (choice of 2 different gears) then you can build up the http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=206 but it's cheaper to rebuild a used one with 31 spline
