finally got it, I just picked it up and love it. Has a few issues but nothing big. totally stock. little 2.25 inch exhaust pipes, shifter is huge... I have never driven a stock mustang before. Thinking about leaving it like this for a little while. Probably needs a new clutch though. might as well go MGW while I have it all out

Nice find

I'd like to have a stocker to drive around for a DD, but that would never work, I can't leave anything alone!! I am beginning to think I may need help

Very cool , but don't lie to yourself about the "leave it stock" thing. You know you won't, and that's what makes it worthwhile.

You could always restore it to its former glory. People seem to go gaga over an unmolested Fox.

yes they are stick ons, may try to remove them and polish the current paint on it. I love the color though.

I might just make it a sleeper. one of the first things is the gears. I was crusing in fourth at 65 on the way home. mostly because it was up hill. but you need to be going like 70+ to get into 5th. LOL

Hey Jon was that one in Oro Valley? There was one just like that on Craigslist that I was trying to talk a buddy into getting. It looks real nice and a great price, glad you ended up with a nice Fox! Good luck with it man!

that'd be the one. was only on there for like 3 days. I saw it the first day. If your buddy passed on it he needs psychiatric treatment.

LOL, yeah he's not really a Mustang fan so I didn't try and persuade him to much. He was also being a *** about getting his old 300zx from his ex g/f, so I just let it go! It looks like a sweet car though. Glad you ended up with something nice! Didn't you like the 2001 that much?

Next month I am driving my Mustang clear across the country 2,400 miles. Hopefully it'll make it! Wish me luck and cross your fingers! It hasn't let me down yet!

Holy crap, do you know how rare that beige interior is? They're getting really scarce.

then he really didn't deserve this car then. The 01 was a very nice car. very refined. There are a lot of things that led up to me getting rid of it. car payment was one, auto matic was another. I still have a lot of parts to convert it over to a 5 spd as well. to include the transmission.

I am sure you will make it. are you pcs'ing???

I dont know how rare but I bet it will look nice with a set of leather seats in it. The front seats have convers on them for a reason It will remain stock for the most part. There are some issues with it that I need to look at. There was a small vacuum leak that I found. It was under the intake. one of the lines was brittle and cracked. took the upper intake off and I will be putting it back on tomorrow. then the rear end looks to have a small leak. I am going to be doing that tomorrow as well. Then I am going to take it out for a shake down run. Other than that, I am really just going to drive it for a little while. fun little car. $20 in parts thus far. prolly will be doing maintenance items next. plugs, cap, rotor, etc.

I am elated that I finally found a notch and the fact it isnt torn up (and stock) is a huge plus to me.

Actually I am separating and then joining the reserves for now. I am just happy to be going back to Pa.

I hear you about car payments! We have one on my wife's Jeep, and it sucks!

That does look like a really fun little car!

In this month's 5.0 mag, they show pics of a car with a MINT beige interior near the back of the mag.

It looks pretty damn good.
