Im sorry because I know this probably is asked alot, but I couldn't find exactly what I wanted.
I have narrowed my choice of vehicles down to either a 99-04 Mustang GT or a 98-02 F-body. Either car would have to be a manual transmission. I know that the LS1 is obviously the faster car stock for stock. I dont care. Im not going to be running the car down the drag strip every day so its not that big of a deal to me.
I want a car that is quick, and most importantly fun to drive. My truck is boring. Its not too slow considering its size, but I want something that handles good and can go run mid 13's if I want. Does anyone have any input on the "driving experience" and how they compare with these two cars? Anything you have to say would be good, from sounds, feel, seating position, etc..., would be appreciated.

If you only care about 1/4 times, go with the F-body. If you want a more user friend car, easier to maintain, lasts longer, better looking all around and only a few tenths slower in the quarter mile, get the Mustang.
Plus GM is going under, have fun trying to get parts for an GM car in a few years.
