I DONT WANT TO SPEND THE CASH!!!!!
its freaking almost 200$

I took my Hammer out today, as well as the console and etc etc( i cleaned them good, they look real nice :) )

Anyways i was hoping that my shift cable problem may be in the hammer itself.

But no, the stock shifter had problems too, i've DOUBLE CHECKED! I start with the shifter in park (i've tried in other positions also) and made sure the tranny itself was in park, hooked up the cable and NO, it wont work!

Since i've had the car, there have been washers on that bracket on th shifter, it connects to the casing on the shift cable, i guess they are there to take up slack, i've tried different numbers of washer and everything possible, But i cant get it to work.

Where can i get that lil connector that holds the ball to the cable, on the shifter, the thing that actually moves back and forth there is a ball and it connects to the cable, via a hole, but there was a piece there to make sure it stays, Well i broke it trying to get it off, so its kinda just sitting over the ball and it comes off and goes on pretty easily, but i dont think it will come off.

ANY HELP!?

there has got to be a few hundred people around here who have done an aod to t5 conversion, why pay that much for a freaking cable, when someone here would likely give one up for free?
