Some kid is coming to look at it wednesday and he said he is about 99% sure hes gonna buy it. So im looking for a new car.

Dont worry I am only upgrading stangs but I have a dilemma on my hands now on what to buy or wait to buy.

I am looking at 3 different cars a Mach 1, 01 Cobra or wait till may until I graduate college and buy an 03 Cobra because I will have a full time job then.

What do you guys think I remind you I am in NY so i only have until the end of October to drive and then it goes into the garage for the winter so I am thinking of waiting and buyin the terminator.

Mach 1 or 03 cobra. Both have stouter motors than the 99 cobras and will probaly have less miles/cosmetic defects.

but the mach if i get it will mainly be stock for a while.

5-Speed Machs have a Cobra Crank and GT rods, I believe. Autos have the same crank as the GT.

I think*

mid-low 13s. If you can drive, you can get 12s with a few mods and mid 12s if you add DR's.

it would look good, but I would be tempted to keep true to the Mach 1 heritage and buy a set of matching DD Mach 1 wheels for the rear. Whatever you do, please don't put Bullitts on it.

I would say that given your present situation, the Mach 1 or the 01 cobra would be your best bet, if you were out of college that would be a different story.

^^^^ crazy about the wheels....

the mach1 wheels look like strait ass and even worse in deep dish... thats the one thing i cant stand about the machs. get the mach1 and throw your saleens on it if you have to have one now or sell your saleens and use that money to help you get a terminator now!

Yea, I forgot about all the problems with the '99 Cobras. So many problems, that Ford ended up only having enough time to build a dozen or so '00 Cobras by the time they fixed all those problems.

he said '01 cobra, not '99... the '01 had a full 320hp, and a stronger transmission, along with a host of other improvements.
