i've suddenly developed some kind of popping in my front suspension when i take off... it only does it when i take off decently fast or if im on a hill... but it does it the worst when im turning it almost feels like the wheels just aren't wanting to start rolling... it will usually stop about half way through 2nd gear... i have no clue what it could be... it started as soon as i put my new h on... i wouldn't think there would be any relation unless maybe i hit something while i was under there... any help would be awesome! thanks a lot guys!

I would start by jacking the front of the car up and look everything over around the front suspension. Also make sure the wheels are turning freely. I would grab the wheel at 9 and 3 and make sure there is no play there and do the same with your hands on the tire at the 12 and 6 position.

i didn't reattach the hanger bracket due to the facct that the pipe was for a newer body style and the hanger locations didn't match... so would that be what the popping is coming from?

Don't use the exhaust hangers..... There is a good chance though that you just have your mid pipe tucked too far up to the body and its tapping on something when your moving. Mine is currently doing that right now. Just get under it and loosen your cat back bolts and lower it just a tad bit. Go out, drive it and make sure that it went away. If not, do it again.

My MAC H did that when I first put it on. It was hitting the floor pan just after the bend to the headers. I ended up denting the floor with a mallet and it stopped popping.

:notnice: I have a mac as well and the prev owner dented the pass side of my floor pans for clearance right there.... :D

I may end up having to do that to my d/s as well. MY issue is with the trans cross member I think. I have the exhaust tucked up nice and tight and it had been a big saggy (she is getting a little old afterall) :D

To the op, check you clearance's and report back.

Posted via Mobile Device i just noticed this thread and then i just read his responce... check the drivers side pipe at bend just below the manifold...that part of the pipe was touching the body of my car when i had it on my car..check that..i think i sent u a picture or said something to u about it...i know i put that info in my build thread so i may not have said that to you..check that though cause that may be your noise..i never had a noise though but it was barely barely touching the bottom of my car

As long as you have test pipes you should be ok. There is nothing illegal about having test pipes. If a shop is that parinoid then they provably aren't that good. I've never seen a shop with a mandril bender care that much.
