I think my car might be a "FREAK"...

+1!!!!
Like I said, the only time my car felt slow was at the race track....but probably because I was getting beat most of the time :rlaugh: . I always got paired with freegin 10 second cars :nonono:

when i head down to the 1/8th mile track seeing the car on the other lane launch on 2 wheels is not cool :( although i did beat one but that is becasue he broke down after the sixty foot :D

ehhhh i dont really believe in a factory freak. My car seemed faster than my buddies old 99 GT though. just cause i could actually squeal my tires when i hit the gas and he never could and he had stock tires and suspension. But i think its cause his motor had over 100,000 miles on it and he bought it used so that was probably a good chunk of it.

oh and we had all the same mods just different brands but i had one more small thing than him my borla sticker under the hood. that could have been teh determining factor.

Mine has 110,000 miles on it an it will still roast the tires with fatter tires on the back. Who knows maybe it's the flowmaster stickers!!! :D

Factory freak might earn you a couple hp over another engine/car. If you build 100 engines, they will all perform in the same ballpark... but nothing you will notice on the street compared to another car.

The term "factory freak" probably originated by the guy who offered to tape $100 to the dash if you could pull it off

The correct weather/track prep will result in things like that. It's off for a car like mine to run anything near what it did, especially with so many miles though it seems everything was right during the runs.
