well here i am making great progress getting close to putting the engine in the car. I torqued the flywheel down and went to put on my clutch. It doesnt line up. It looks to be an old school long style clutch patern according to my dad. The six bolts are in twos and close together, where as my six on my late model clutch are much more evenly spaced. Needless to say im pissed because i planned to have this thing running very soon. So what is the damage guys. Is my engine gonna have to come apart again so he can balance it for a correct flywheel, or is this guy gonna have to personally buy me an older stlye clutch(can that even work)?

Well John

If you do indeed got an older flywheel, the starter may not even mesh correctly so that could be an additional issue

I don't thing you'd be happy with an old style Long Type clutch :nono:

Like was said already, just need to see what he has got to say.

Hope is something minor :D
