I too am now spoiler-less..pics..sorta a how-to
Got the bug again today to go spoiler-less and this time I didn't want any holes, so I went with the nylon plug method to cover the holes untill I get the filled and painted. I used two 5/16" plugs and two 3/8" plugs. The small ones go up front and the bigger ones go in the back.
No stores around here sell my Satin Silver Pearl paint (didnt want to go to the dealership) so I got silver metallic which I knew is very very close to SSP.
Since its like 20 degrees here. I painted the stuff in my garage and put it in my bathroom with the fan on and door closed to dry. It worked out pretty well since the garage is connected to my house and the bathroom is right next to the garage.
Anyways here are the steps I went through...
The paint and clear that I'm using
Here are the big plugs after a few coats of paint and a small one that was the wrong size that got thrown out.
How close the paint is. This is with no clear on the plug and two coats of paint.
On the left are the new plugs for the small holes with the paint drying and on the right are the bigger ones with the clear coat drying
Bigger plugs all finished
And the finished project on my spoiler. I didnt put them on the car yet cause it has to be cleaned.
