Like the title says, I wanna run a vortech supercharger with a blow through carb. Can someone tell me if this is just a bolt on type of thing? I have seen the superchargers by them self going for like 600-700 bucks. I am thinking If I can buy just the supercharger, used, I should be able to buy the brackets, pulleys, and and oil line from vortech or ebay right? Is that all I would need? Can I just bolt it up like I would for EFI, but use no MAF, and just use a carb hat with a hose to the supercharger and thats it? I am sure there will be some tuning involded with the carb, but is there any other problem i would run into or is it that simple? I would like to run something like this, I think this is on a older mustang like a 65-68

i ran a blow thru turbo

i had a blow through carb on a turbo. u need a fuel pressure reg that adds fuel pressure when boost is seen. u will need a blow off to let the boost off.

Thanks for that, I talked to some of the guys over at turbomustang and for the fuel system they pretty much said you gotta add about 1psi of fuel for every one psi of boost. I was gonna try to run a Holley blue because I can get one for free, but it doesnt put out enough pressure, may have to go aeromotive. I can get a Holley 670 double pumper for cheap wondering if thatll be enough, theres a tech post on turbomustangs.com on how to make any holley a blow through. Maybe I'll try that.
