Keep that nose down, and she might be able to keep up with Paul. That's a streetable 9 sec car. Dunno if I consider a sloid cam streetable though.
she looks like julianne moore . . .
Drum brakes are often used in drag racing because they have less rolling resistance and are lighter than most disc setups (the new lightweight calipers might change that, though)... That's also why people run 6 cyl springs, etc. It's all about the front end weight.Fade is more a problem with multiple stops, something to be worried about as a road racer, but not a drag racer.

She's average. However her drag racing skills IMO gives her a few more points on the bangability scale.

On a hot day going 70 on the interstate and coming to a complete stop - one use of the 4 wheel drum brakes and I used to be scared and stepping on the pedal as hard as I possibly could. Granada discs work great and now I'm not scared in traffic. I used to have to leave a huge gap in front of me and a million cars would keep cutting in front of me. Now I can stop with the other cars.I can't vouch for anyone else, but personally I did a brakestomp somewhere between 90 and 110(speedo was a little off) and my factory drums faded in about one whole second. I knew it was a possibility and gave myself lots of road to slow down, but it was still creepy. They bit hard at first and then quickly needed more and more pedal to keep slowing down. They stayed that way until they cooled off. My Granada discs are about a week away....
