i want to put a 03 cobra blower on my 97 coba

hello,I looking into installing an 03 cobra blower on my 97 cobra. I just need to know what all i will need to do, i have heard about relocating the alt? what else will i need to do? thanks

Do you have the blower? Do you have a plan on how to adapt the manifold (97 heads are different from 02-03). What are your plans regarding the all of the other pieces needed (brackets, bypass, harnes, PCM, tune)?

How about the hood?

I read some where that there's an intake to mount a 03 cobra blower on the b heads but I don't know if the accessories line up an stuff. I went with a used Kenne Bell, injectors, tune an everything $2000 shipped.

a friend of mine just ordered a whipple for his 03 cobra so ill be getting pretty much everything off his car.

All you'll likely be getting is the blower itself and maybe his throttle body. He'll need everything else, to use with the Whipple. You need to pretty much swap the entire top half of his engine, cylinder heads included, onto your shortblock, in order for it to work.

Its too much work and money for such little gain. Your most likely going to have to spend 4000 just to get it right. There are much more parts needed then you think. The heads,front engine cover, lower intake, and the list goes on and on. Your better off buying a procharger and you'll get more for the money.

SVTperformance has alot of info on dropping in the M112 from an 03/04. But if I were you I would just run a Vortech or Paxton or something more designed for your car.
