Hi to everyone Canada East!

I have alots thing to do ahead for Ontario. I still have my Ontario license plates and green permit plate portion with me. I will simply transfer from my BC register to Ontario's register for my car.

I still undecide where I going to live.....maybe I will live in Burlington or back to Ottawa where I lived before in Kanata. I know insurance will be lower in Ottawa than in Metro Toronto.

Its will be nice for me to see new face of stangers in Ontario!

Yes I agreed with you about Northern Ontario is alots cheaper than living down south! Also Northern Ontario is most beauitful countryside and famous pre-Cambrain sheild. I have been driving on Hwy 17 from Kenora to Ottawa. I felt that Hwy 17 is the most pleasent to drive.

Why I wanted to live in southern Ontario? Because im deaf and require to have deaf commuinty close by than Northern Ontario.

usually there's weekly meets (fridays?) both in the east and west ends, sometimes even up in the north end.

Anything west/ or east of Toronto is good, as the only good things coming out of Toronto these days are the highways!

Well, I'll tell you all right now. I spent about a week and a half in Kingston at the begging of this summer and that's the first place I’m moving to when I get the opportunity. One of the nicest cities I've ever been in. Not too big that it's overwelming, but not so small that it's got nothing to offer. It's a huge party town (Queens University) and there were SUPER HOT girls nearly everywhere you look. The cost of living is reasonable, it's got awesome roads, the city’s right on the water, not to mention you’re only 2-hours East of Barrie, 2-hours North/East Ottawa, 2-hours South/West of Toronto and about 35-min from the border. Pretty much smack dab in the middle of everything worth while actually.

It would definitely be worth considering….
