Have a real bad idle ..stalls out

Cleaned the IAC and I still have the problem.

But I noticed while I was cleaning the IAC the cleaner would not hold in the IAC hole it leaked thru the other side should that be sealed and is that a sign its bad?

Just get a new IAC from ford. I had the same problem. I cleaned mine out and it still stalled. I bought a new one and all is good.

This is true, sometimes cleaning them isn't enough. I had the same problem a while back and it would only help for a short period and then it got annoying. Might also be a good time to do a couple other things like a new fuel filter, check for vacuum leaks...etc.

I bought a new IAC from my Ford dealer for a total of $118 ,did the install with the negative removed for a half hour and woo-hoo no more problems with the idle.

the other purchase option for me would be NAPA cost was $ 114

Thanks for the info
