I would like to know if my iac solenoid(mustang gt 1996)is same as 99-04?

I need to know because 34_ford sell iac restrictor plate(quick idle return) for 99-04,so i want to be sure before i buy anything

the IAC is not the same, 1996 to 1998 takes one and 1999 is different.

and if you use the wrong IAC in the car, it will cause all kinds of idle problems, same applys to using aftermarket IAC's

i was talking about the restrictor plates, theyre the same for 96-04
