First time poster so bare with me. I have 2003 GT, i recently installed a SVE cold air intake. I double checked all hose clamps and tightened them pretty good. Had your typical hanging idle due to my iac on the fritz. However i had bough a new iac by bwd from o'riellys and i stuck that guy on and instantly hits 2500 for like 45 secs and then idles at 1500. You wait at 1500 for long enough and then it just dies, you can save it and it idle like normal but the second you drive at normal rpms it gets right back up to 2500 and then the process repeats.....also the high idle also effects the throttle like a wicked cruise control you cant turn off. i put the old one back on and its fine, normal small hanging idle. Took the new one back and got another and its the same deal. I found one vacuum line that is not hooked up ( cannot figure out where it goes) which i never touched. Doubt it would effect the new iac because the old one worked without it hooked up. Pic Included. Thank you.

I would try to find where that vacume line hooks up. It looks like it may be part of the egr system.

That isn't a vacuum hose. It's an electrical connector it clips to the stud on ur fuel rail
