iac

If you dont want to fix the issue, sure. You wont have idle compensation (cold motor, accessory load, etc) though.

... Or take it off, diassembly it, clean it thoroughly with carb cleaner and a toothbrush ... and then put it all back together.

Works 9 out of 10 times. :nice:

Yeah I'm one of the 1 that when I cleaned my IAC, it made my car worse, even whem I replaced it. But since my MAF conversion, it runs 100% better.

Well I am glad you said something about it finally running better. I still remember your post that cleaning it (per a link that I believe that I had posted) messed things up - I felt bad about that. At least now I know it got better. :)

I still have no idea why it was running like that with SD. I love MAF now! :D Idles at about 900 at a cold startup (unlike 1500 for 30 seconds with SD) and idles at about 600, compare to about 900 with SD when warm.
