I have been reading that relocating the IAT senosor to discharge side of the supercharger will help with tuning. Is this true? If so will the sensor pop out under boost? thanks for the info!

i used some RTV to keep mine in place. and yes you need to move it to the discharge side of the s/c since the s/c will heat the air as it is being compressed

they also make a threaded IAT sensor. that way you can drill a hole/thread the discharge tube and screw in the IAT sensor.

How does that thread into 2-3mm of alumimum pipe? Do you have to weld in a bung for it?

And I was told to put it as close to the throttle body as possible.

Yeah having the IAT on the discharge side will give the computer a more accurate reading and should help any driving/idle problems. Gonna need to drill a hole in the pipe and weld a nut to it, should work tits

damn, is it a 3/8" NPT tap? I wouldnt thing there would be enough material for the tap to cut threads into. Maybe I will try to punch the hole to get extra material, like the oil pan??

I dont think you should try to punch Aluminium. I think that you would crack the pipe if you tried that. I was thinking if you drill the hole close to throttle body you should be able to reach in and put a nut on it.
