For those of you that know about how the jerry mod works..

What about instead of completely removing the bottom 1-2 spring, just cut a little off? My trans expert buddy recommended doing this versus completely removing it.
Will totally removing the spring cause barking 2nd at half throttle? I don't want my daily driver kicking me sideways on a rainy day..

And what about for the 2-3? Is it safe to remove it for normal driving?

Just remove the spring. I did the 1/2 and 2/3 spring.

It will not cause barking in 2nd, in fact, it shifts better than stock.

Yes, my car is a daily driver.

Um you want it to bark in 2nd and full throttle. If your stupid enough to drive at WOT in the rain then you deserve to lose control of your car.

Barking 2nd in an automatic is fun . Adds some of that fun that you lose with most automatics.
