Ideas For The Longtube/starter Clearence Issue?

I currently have longtubes on now and they rub the mini torque starter that i have on there and burns the starter up..so i eas wondering if there was a way around the issue without doing my exhaust again

dimple/bend the header tube
shield the starter
wrap the header in header wrap

What LT headers are you running
Do you have a T5 or AOD

Wow is the header physically touching? I just did an install of lts on my automatic. Its tight, but i have space. Im running a mini torque starter
