So i'm getting my fox painted at a friends auto body shop, which means good price for me .

I'm looking for ideas on what color I should paint it, right now its red with porno red interior. So something that looks good with the inside. Any ideas would be great, thanks.

Keep it red. Nothing better than a red foxbody GT!!! They are slick. Just make sure you repaint all the trim on the car flat black, and tint the windows really dark so you won't have to look at the red interoir from outside the car. No offense, it's just a different red than the shade of the car.

Porno red is great!

Porno red is great...just not with red exterior.

Some shade of a gun metal grey would look sick with the porno red inside...

If you are keeping it an original color FOMOCO had some gun metal greys..I forgot the name....if not...pick a Porsche or Ferrari grey....they are sick..

also, Jeep had a really nice grey in 2002 called graphite. It wasn't metallic but a pearl grey.

just my $.02

I hope you didn't take it like that..that's not the way I meant it. I just hope you decide to keep it the original color that's all.

Black or silver are the best colors with a red int. With that being said, unless you plan to pull the engine, pull all the lights and windows I vote for red paint. It doesnt haft to be the factory red but something close. Nothing looks worse than a half assed color change.

Yeah, we are going to pull the engine, lights, and all that good stuff (it'll give me a chance to give it all a good cleaning too).

I think i'm going to paint it 2 colors, I was thinking black on top and dark grey on the bottom. Maybe a red stripe along the side dividing the 2 colors.

I say no to silver and black. Silver and a darker met. grey would be a better choice.

would look greeeatt with porno red.

Color change on a Fox isn't a big deal. The whole car comes apart relatively easily.

You don't want to 1/2 a$$$ a color change but it is easy to strip a fox

I just saw TwoToneHatch's sig, and I was thinking a paint job like that one, but dark grey on the bottom. I think it would look sick.

If you are going to do the door jams and engine bay along with the body do something dark. Black or Dark Shadow Grey would look good with the red interior. If you are not gonna do the extra work, just paint it red. It looks really tacky to open your door and see two colors in the jam or pop a hood to see that.
