Ok, took a peek under my stang and saw the tag so I figured since I had never looked I'd check its tag to see what gears were in my rear end.

Heres what I saw:
203F
3SL08A888B18

I thought it would say "2L73" on there somewhere but it doesn't. What gears are in this rear end.

Thanks.

Standard gear is 2.73's

If you had a 5-spd you could get 3.08's optional. If you had an AOD, 3.27's were optional. Vast majority of GT's and LX's left the floor with 2.73's though

The simple way to check what gears, is count how many times the drive shaft rotates per 1 turn of the tire. Just under 3, 2.73. Just over 3, 3.08 etc.

I'd do that but I only have access to a floor jack when I'm at work and I don't have time to mess with my car at work.
