Idle Air Adjuster Plate???

I just finished installing the Ford Idle air adjuster plate & now I seem to have a very loud noise coming from the Air filter on my mass air system. It seems like it has more air suction now. The noise is actually kind of annoying. Is this normal after this installation?
Anyon else run into this?

I also have installed one of those a few weeks ago and I get the same noise. Dunno if it is normal but the car runs fine.
