I had installed a new TB about 100 miles ago and did not have a problem, today I installed a C&L mass air unit and I test drove it a couple of times today and it worked fine no problems. Then later on today I had to unhook the battery and when I drove it later the thing doesn't want to idle down, for a couple secs, It will sit at 1650-2000 before it slowly will idle down. Reseting the comp, did it mess witht the TPS setting???? What settings#s and how can I check. Thanks!!!! Or should I check other things? I had seen people have problems with this when they installed the TB but never after it had been on for a while.

I just installed an Accufab plenum & 75mm TB today on my 04 GT and I'm having a similar situation. I also have a C&L 85mm MAF, CAI, and Flow Tube up front with a Magnaflow Cat back. I think the trouble is in the TPS. I hooked a voltmeter up to the bottom connector of the three connector plug and got a reading in the 1.3 range at idle. It wasn't consistent though. Can anyone let me know if this is the correct place to check the voltage? If so, then mine is high and needs to be adjusted. Anyone have tips on adjustment?

mine does that too. i have a 75mm tb c&l plenum 85 maf and the idle goes up to 1200 or so. but i just turn off the engine and turn it back on and it goes back to normal. and i dont see any error codes popping up. i guess it just might be the hot weather or some oil getting on the maf sensor.
