Hi there fellas I am having a issue with this 89 5.0 that just cant get it to idle properly and when idles its very rough, I install a vacuum guage while I can get the engine to idle and reading are very low 14 in Hg or sometime a bit lower like if it had a vacuum leak. When its idling rought vacuum reading float from 14Hg- 10hg sometime 5Hg and then engine turns off. I notice it smells very rich. I check for vacuum leaks 3x's and cant find nothing, replaced IAC Idle Air Control valve and no changes. I check just about everything I can think that would cause an engine not to idle/rough idle, Timing is set at 12* is mark at TDC correct. compression is good in all cylinders. We did not have this issue before we installed these aftermarket parts. E cam, Edelbrock Performer heads new liflters, and timing chain. engine run strong while driving on road no problems but when you get to a stop or light it tries to stay on at idle but just wont and it shuts off. I restart the car and sometimes will idle or it just start up unless I step on th gas a bit and it just wont idle at all. I callled a guy who specializes in ford performance etc.. First he said that computer may not be able to composate the idle issue with these aftermarket parts, Then he said if the cam was not degreed it will cause it to do that also, I have installed many of these aftermarket cams with larger lift then the E cam {this cam should have a smoth stock idle## and never had an issue without degree it. Any help or Advise will appreciated Thanks in advance
