My stang idles ok most of the time but occasionally it wants to die between 3rd and 4th(at about 3 or 4 pounds of boost). Also it goes crazy with the AC AND HEAT on. I replaced my IAC with one from advanced auto about 6 months ago and last time i checked it was as clean as it was when it was new. I am open to any ideas bc it has me beat. What is the likelyhood that it is a different problem? I haven't had it tuned in a long time so i dont know if its lean or what. Just thought id ask u guys before i take this on too hard.

If your idle goes up and down when ac is on then you need to fill ac . It happen to me and went to walmart , bought a ac charge then it fixed. Get the one that come with guage

can you hear your ac/fan kick on and off alot? that would also point to what lv says. I think you should get that tune checked over too. couldnt hurt
I have never had any luck with Auto parts store iac. Get an OEM one. I would tend to lean twords a vacumme leak. Also check the plugs and the coil connections, I have seen 2 seperate New Edge Stangs have a bad coil connection, and the stock coil to plug wire does not clamp it only "sits" on the plug, so check for a bad connection. Hope it helps.
plugs are a lil over due... i cant seem to change them every 10k miles. but i checked one a while back and it looked good. they are iridium w/ 15k on em. i do get some hesitation when cold. i will change this weekend and check it out. the car only has 50k on it so i really hope its not a vacuum leak
