hey guys, have a problem. for a while now my cars (87 mustang) had idle problems and a surging idle. when i first got my car out of storage, it would stall when i started it, so i cleaned out the IAB and throttle body, and my stalling problem went away. now though, sometimes it'll idle/run fine, but other times the idle is up around 900-1000 rpm, doesnt stay constant, when i shift it stays around 2000rpm or so until its back in gear, and just plain is a bugger. other then the idling, it drives fine, no hesitation or anything like that.
so ive cleaned my IAB, throttle body, set my TPS voltage at 0.93v... what else is there to check/do?
I went down to ford to order the idle air adjust kit, f2pz 9f939 a, but they wanted $38 for it... should I just order that and give it a go? or?
my car is basically stock, with a k&n filter and a hurst shifter
