Just picked up 1990 GT 5.0 5 speed, here is what it does when driving the car the idle will go up to around 2500 RPM by itself, and then will go back but sometimes it dosen't and i have to shut the car off to get it to stop, the time period is different sometimes it does it for a few seconds sometimes it keeps going.
What should I be looking for as the cause of this?
