Idle stuck at 2k, Loss of power brakes HELP!

Ok so a few minutes ago on my way home from work, I go to stop at an intersection and as soon as I throw in the clutch, the car revs up to 2k rpms and will not go any lower. As i'm thinking WTF, I hit the brakes and they're rock hard, no power brakes at all. Anyone ever have this problem before? I was thinking the idle was the TPS but to have that and the brakes go at the exact same time is kinda weird. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Its definately a vacuum leak, i'd start looking up by the vacuum tree on the firewall nearest the brake booster, there is a big vacuum line there that goes to the booster so i'd check that one first.

While you are looking for the vacuum leak pay close attention to the power brake booster. The vacuum line for the power brake booster connects to a check valve that fits in a rubber grommet. If the grommet goes bad or the check valve fails, then you get a humongous vacuum leak. That causes the power brake booster not to work like it should.

I'm betting the brake booster went bad causing a huge vacuum leak into the engine
