I just installed a 347 in my Mustang (specs in sig) and I am having a problem getting it to idle correctly. I went through all the "fixes" but none work. I replaced the ECT and ACT sensors today with new sensors from Autozone. I also set base idle and made sure that TPS voltage was at .98 with the throttle closed.
I ran the engine for 5 minutes or so, and ran the codes. Here's what I got.
21- ECT out of self test range of .3 to 3.7 volts
23- Closed throttle TPS lower or higher than expected
24- ACT out of self test rannge of .3 to 3.7 volts.
31- EGR/EVP circuit below minimun voltage
81- TAD circuit failure
82- TAB circuit failure
85- Canister Purge Soleniod circuit failure
84- EGR Valve Position/Pressure Feedback EGR/EGR Control Circuit Failure
Again, remember that the smog system (EGR, EVP, TAD, TAB and Purge Canister) is disconnected. So the only codes I am trying to figure out are 21, 23 and 24.
