Idle Vacuum with your cam.

What kind of vacuum are guys running with cams and what mods. Whats your idle speed.

I am trying to get an idea on my cam.


My unknown cam idles at 8-9" at 900

Stock cam idle RPM? its about 600-800 rpms.

...600-800rpms?...ok...i thought i had the stock cam but my idle sits at 1000ish rpms maybe a tad higher sometimes...i guess that means i either

a) dont have the stock cam or b) my stock tach is off huh?

the previous owner put those white face gauges in also, could he have messed it up when he was installing? i ask because my fuel gauge is waaay off and the temp gauge no workie...its the stock gauge cluster, just with those white face things on em. can these be removed i dont really care for em?

Idle speed varies for many reasons. IAB cleanliness, tps settings, tps screw in or out, vacuum, etc...not just "cam"
