idle fluctuates when cold then smoothes out as it warms up when i first start it the engine goes to bout 1200rpm then drops and fluctuates any ideas?

You may need to pull and clean your iac valve

+1 buy some carb cleaner and clean it out, should fix it

The first two posts contain all the updates to the fixes. At last count there were 24 possible causes and fixes for surging idle/stall problems. I continue to update it as more people post fixes or ask questions.
