Okay My idler pully was squeeking, so I bought a new one. Put it one, a couple of weeks later... Its squeeking again, only louder! What the heck... Any suggestions? Did I just have bad luck and get a crappy replacement?
My idler pulley started squealing on my sc bracket because of too much belt tension. After the squealing started, it totally gave out in less than 20 miles of normal driving. Check your belt tension & pulley alignment.
