I checked my codes and can't remember the number but it said I could have a bad maf, o2 sensor, or a misfire. My car is idling high at 1500-2500. Sometimes its normal but mostly stays high. I replaced my maf and wouldn't think my o2 sensors would cause this? Could I have a vacuum leak. Sometimes it will also ping.

the pinging sounds like your timing is advanced too far, maybe your chip is doing it, I'm not sure what else causes pinging?? Have you checked your IAC that would be my first guess for the idle problem. If that checks out check your tps. My car was having idling problems but it was not idling high enough, turned out to be the iac. Have you checked your tb aftermarket should have a screw to adjust the idle. If you dont know what the iac or tps is let me know.

So far I have replaced my iac, tps, maf, and removed my chip to see if the problem still occurred. Well....it did  I sprayed the hell out of my engine bay with carb cleaner looking for a leak but my rpms never rose. My t-body screw is backed off where it isn't even touching the butterfly. I have my intake completely off and decided to stop for the night. When I put my new one on tomorrow hopefully my problem will stop. I did notice that the t-body I am installing has two small holes in the butterfly valve?
