If u run an Intercooler, i could use ur advice :)

Im going to be running a blow thru intercooled supercharged setup in my fox in the next couple weeks.. i just need to buy my intercooler piping to finish the build. What size piping would u guys recommend? I can't decide if i should go 2.5" or 3". I have a feeling i should go with 3 because i have a 70mm throttle body and a 75mm pro m meter. but then again iv read that 3" piping could be overkill. any advice?

Without really knowing your setup I would just go with 3. It wouldnt be overkill and will give you some room to grow in the future, your car isnt going to be slower because your charge pipes are a half inch bigger..

also need to know the size of the intercooler and the inlet/outlet sizes as well. how are you routing your piping? side to side or is everything ( inlet and outlet ) going to be coming from the passenger side?

First the 75mm bullet is a draw through meter, which will not work if it sees boost. I would upgrade to a Pro-M or PMAS pro tube, 3" and like others with out knowing your exact intentions 3" is a decent size tube. If your making 800+ with a huge blower you may want to go 3.5"

Whats the set-up?

The motor is basically all stock. gt40 upper an lower intake, 70mm throttle body, shorty headers, 2.5" exhaust no cats. 255 pump, AFPR, 42lb injectors, powerdyne bd11a with race rebuild 2.93 pulley and 7" crank pulley.

the intercooler i got for 50 bux off craigslist is a cx racing intercooler from ebay, it has a 2.5" inlet an outlet..

Also the pro m meter i have is a blow thru meter, i bought that and a tial 50mm Bov from the same person that had them on a 10 sec turbo mustang...
