If you bought a power adder for sound alone...what sounds the nicest??

I know priority lies in the HP and TQ gains of a particular power adder..... but what has the best sound.

in my area there are not alot of stangs, let alone modified ones....so I've heard next to none with turbos and super chargers, let alone different types of superchargers (which i suppose make different sounds).

what makes the worst sleeper

One of the loudest blowers I've ever heard aside from a 6-71 or 8-71, was an ATI Procharger D1SC. That thing howled like demons from hell.

KB blowers sound similar but aren't as loud, and i LOVE that sound

Was a fan of the KB, but now it seems like everybody has it... I personally like the T trim, or the sound of twin turbos. I love the turbos after a nice 3rd gear pull, and they off the gas and it makes that fluttering whistle sound... My KB is not loud at all, not compared to the Eatons on the Cobra. KB Cobra's sound way louder than KB GT's, maybe it's just the 2.2 or 2.8 that makes them louder.

I really liked the way the vortech sounded at idle...you could definately tell that something was up when it was sittin there at idle..does pro charger sound that way too?...... I wish I would see people with these set ups running around...



I'm assuming turbos are pretty quiet right? are they noticeable at idle? can you hear em well as the engine revs?

my novi 2K is like a jet at lower RPM's. the BOV makes it even better.i have a video taken from the halfway mark at the 1/4 and the whine is loud as hell!
