If you bought a power adder for sound alone...what sounds the nicest??

My turbos are quiet @ idle, durring revving and cruizing around. I could give you a ride and you would never know that my car isnt N/A.

However durring 3500RPM shifts with a little more gas than normal you can hear the BOV between shifts, and when I go WOT and I get about 4PSI you can hear the turbos making a sound thats sounds like the cross of a wooshing of air and the sound of a KB blower .

As far as tha best sound, im not sure....I love how mine sounds though! But sometimes I would like the sound of a centri so you can scare people as your driving through a parking lot lol. And the KB 2.2 on the cobras sound freegin awsome!

I have an SQ Trim on my car and its still pretty loud. At least with the extra boost Im pushing, you can hear it very well. A friend of mine was laughing when I pulled into a parking lot one day because he said he could hear my blower all the way down the road. He said hed hate to hear how loud a regular S Trim is.

I always watch that twin turboed saleen video and its just amazing everytime. I would love to model my car after his, but after reading the mods list, it looks like i'd need about 30k or so to do that.

I love the sound that my Eaton M112 makes. I took off the intake air silencer and the guts of he cats have been blown out from a million hard launches so it whines like crazy

I've heard vids but they seem to start making noise once your on the gas

they are nearly silent at idle. my buddys KB GT sounds like a normal car at idle but screams at WOT

I really liked the way the vortech sounded at idle...you could definately tell that something was up when it was sittin there at idle..does pro charger sound that way too?

My P1SC barely makes any noise at all. The only time you can really tell its there is when you shut the car off because the last thing you hear is the high-pitched whistle...
The exhaust completely drowns it out at all other times though.

One of the loudest blowers I've ever heard aside from a 6-71 or 8-71, was an ATI Procharger D1SC. That thing howled like demons from hell.

I can agree with the D-1SC. Mine is loud as hell. Definitely wasn't expecting it to be as loud as it is. I'll have to post the videos of me starting it up for the first time and getting it dynoed.
The last cruise I was on, the guy in front of me was saying how all he could hear is "that damn whistle" when we were stopped at traffic lights. Won't be good as a sleeper.

My Eaton certainly makes a nice siren like wail when you put your foot into it. A lot louder than any twin screw I've ever heard.
