If you could have a daily driver, what would it be?

Me, I think I would like a truck of some sort. I live out in the country, so I need something to drive when the dirt road turns to mud. But it's gotta be 4x4 so I can have some fun it. Maybe a F150, extended cab so I can fit some subs behind the seat. Nothing fancy, but I would like a stick still. I would like to try and get the lightest truck I could so it wouldn't be a slug.

If I could afford it, I would like a Jeep Wrangler with the 6cyl. I think they still put inline 6's in there right? 4x4 of course, I'd have it raised with some big tires on it and a snorkel and a winch so when I got stuck in a creek I could pull myself out. Ragtop, cus it's cool to go off-roading without a roof. But those things suck gas worse than a stang does. What about you guys?

My daily driver is a 2001 Escort ZX2. It's actually kind of fun for a beater.

Is that what you're gonna drive all the time when you sell the stang for $14000? If I were going for fuel economy, I'd honestly get an older Corolla (I had an 85 that was real fun to drive actually). They make those in RWD too, 30mpg, 2500 lbs, stick shift, and rwd has gotta be pretty fun even with a 4cyl, lol.

i would get either a stationwagon type or a truck (for my mountain biking)

i think a VW stationwagon would be cool, but if i wasn't worried about fuel economy, my 2ndary car would be a 4x4 tacoma, 4x4 f150 xtended cab/bed, 4x4 tundra or maybe a dodge magnum or something

Hahahahaha

It's what I mainly drive now....if I sell the Mustang for $14K (or $11K), I'm buying either another 94-95 GT or a 96-98 Cobra.

My daily driver is a 93 saturn 5spd I got for $1300. No need for anything fancy to drive daily since its only gonna get ruined over time from wear and tear.

I LOVE my ford escape XLT 4x4 V6. The things goes EVERYWHERE and it gets close to 25mpg on the highway. It runs a 16.6 at 8Xmph in the 1/4 too! Yes... I have run it before LOL!

My DD is a ford focus ZX3 and its fun despite the fact that its a auto 4cyl. I just knocked down 33.7mpg in it too on a trip from here to Cleveland OH. I got a whopping 380.5miles out of a tank of fuel which IMO is awesome.

i have two options right now - an 04 chevy 3500 box van which i drive to work everyday. After work i can drive a 01 dodge ram 2500 which is my dads, but i can drive it whenever.

IF i could pick ANY car i wanted as a DD i would go with an escalade or denali. A nice gas guzzling SUV is right up my alley.

I'll have an 98 Explorer when the snow comes, but I'd really like just a new F150 4x4.

A black F150 XL, regular cab, short bed, styleside truck. I do engineering so I'll never be working the truck on a job site, but I want the convenience of a pick up that can tow two snowmobiles and a solid 4x4 for the New England Winters.
