LOL i'm just making fun of the situation anyways. The whole idea was basically to improve on something that was sort of weak in the first place. I always seem to be poking around under the hood when i'm out places, and i don't carry a drop light.

My 85 F-150 has a cool underhood light. It pulls out of the housing so it can be used as a trouble light and it retracts when you are finished.

In my old LX 5.0 I took the hood light from a 280Z. It looks like a small torpedo with a switch at one end and a light at the other. If you twist the light is comes apart and makes a mini 6 foot drop light with a hook on the back to hang it anywhere. Most any junkyard will have one.( I think they were in almost all datsun/nissans in the 70's) And you can mount it anywhere under the hood. It has saved me several times. I wonder if a halogen lamp could go in it?
