Knowing what you now know about your car, if you had the opportunity to purchase it all over again what would you do differently?

What options would you add or delete? As for me, I think seriously consider going with the spoiler delete. I think the spoiler looks ok, but I have already grown very tired of the hassle it adds to washing, or more specifically drying off the car after washing....
I would also consider 18" wheels, a power passengers seat, and bun warmers.

Just curious as to what others are thinking...

I picked mine off the lot so I didn't have much say in what options it had. But I think I wouldn't have done anything differently. I didn't want the satellite radio and spoiler at first, but I've since grown to like both. As far as I'm concerned it's the perfect stock 'Stang since I'm going to be getting bigger wheels, performance, and some appearance upgrades in time anyway.

A couple things.....

My car was off the lot and had almost all of what I wanted except the comfort pkg. I was indifferent to the machined 17" wheels and would rather have saved the 200 bucks. A parchment top would have set off the WV Blue very nicely and apart from other convertibles. I suppose it would be too much fix and mix to change it.

Nothing...

I got red interior w/ IUP, spoiler delete, stock bullitt rims, with Tungston Metallic Grey. This is exactly the car I wanted.

I too got my car off the lot and I'm glad I did as I was able to really enjoy it last summer. Otherwise I'd order the EXACT same car but with spoiler delete and I would have waited for an 07 with heated seats, aside from that those are the only 2 real things that I wish were different.

I also missed out on the family pricing sale by 3 weeks which cost me some $2500 and the warranty bump to 5 years by a month and a half.

That being said, quite happy with the car depsite missing a couple opportunities.

For changes to date, I would have just ordered the cervini's billet grille instead of the overlay I did. It looks OK but ultimately would hve been fine with the Cervini's one. Now I have to (want to) replace it and will in the next month. I also would have not bought my C&L/Diablo combo from RPM instead would have gotten a SCT combo from Brenspeed if I had known what I know today.

I would do the same thing again. GT premium white coupe, dark charcoal interior, automatic, spoiler delete, sport interior appearance package.

I'd get exactly the same car equiped the same way as mine is now..... Grabber Orange, manual, premium trim, premier int. upgrade, comfort group, stripes, no GT appearance package (don't care for the fake hood scoop), and no sattelite radio "wart" on the trunk.

The only thing that I may have done differently if I actually ordered the car instead of picking it from dealer stock would be to have the stock rims instead of the $195 alloy rims option, since I knew I'd be getting aftermarket rims anyway. I would also have made sure they didn't drill the front bumper for the license plate (that was already done). I hate it when they do that!!

I got mine off the lot, but if I ordered it, I'd get the spoiler delete kit.

Thinking of taking it off, but it's gonna cost a lot of money to do so.

I got mine during the 0/72 offer late last August so it was very slim pickings. Due to that fact, I settled for the automatic(wanted the manual) being that it had every other feature I wanted besides the 18" fanblades, even down to the colors(Vista/dark charcoal leather). I just don't care for the rear spoiler, but am gladly going to use the existing holes for the Roush one. I purchased the fanblades less than a month later. Now after adding the CAI/SCT tuner, 4.10s and O/R H I have no regrets of this being an auto!!!!! Besides, now after putting on the stripes and emblems, I have an '06 GT/A. It is just point and shoot!!!!! The job the tuner does about the throttle lag is night/day difference!!!!! Last week I was fighting a head cold. Several times while driving, I would start coughing, with my foot on the gas it would lunge every time I coughed hard. I had to pull my foot off the gas most of the time I felt a cough coming on...

Mine came off the lot as well and was exactly what I wanted except for two things I'd change: 3.31:1 gears (I wanted 3.55:1) and the silly hood scoop. I'd jettison that thing if I was building my ideal Stang. Otherwise it's perfect: manual trans, IUP, comfort group, etc. Very happy with it.
