Trying to figure out where to mount my MSD box and two step. Any ideas inside the car that look clean would be appreciated.

I mounted my MSD where the windshield washer tank was. Ran the battery wires the same way the voltage regulator wires are run, and tied to the M/C bar for the distributor wires.

I have my fuel regulator and return stuff sitting right there. Thanks for getting back to me though.

I replaced the plexiglass mount with some aluminum though

The hole drill skipped on me though when I was making it...

I put my battery in the trunk, mounted MSD and a tach adapter to work with my repro rally pac tachometer in the recess on the fender side of the battery area...

My old one was on a home made bracket in middle of the firewall. I don't think I have a pic handy right now. With a turbo under the hood I moved it here.

I mainly added the fan because I never got a straight answer as to how well the MSD boxes handle enclosed areas. I spoke with an MSD tech on the phone who said the mounting location would be ok and shouldn't do any harm to the box even though it says in the manual that they do not recommend glovebox mountings. So basically I added it as an extra precaution against overheating. It's just a computer fan.

What are the RPM dials you guys are talking about? The only dial I can think of on mine is for selecting the number of cylinders. I have the little white plugs that you plug into the box for adjusting the redline.

I mounted mine on the radiator wall. My battery is in the trunk and all of the wiring harnesses are routed under the fenders.

I mounted mine where knuckl-head has his, but my box in turned around. It's good for hiding the wires.
