Ignition problems?

Hey, im having some trouble getting my car started ('88 5.0). Im not getting any spark when i turn the key (batt, fuel pump, starter are all ok). I have replaced the dist rotor, cap and still no spark to get her going. Any idea's? any help would be appreciated

Do you have power at and coming out of the ignition switch? What about the starter solenoid? The ignition module? Does the car have an aftermarket ignition system?

Try seeing if you have spark coming from the coil to the distrivuter. Then check for spark from the distributer to the plugs. Could have a bad module on your distributer. They tend to burn out on these mustangs.

also, do you have 12v at the coil with the key on??

all good advice. might pull codes to see if it tossed one. also, the infamous Jrichker list could help with checking stuff systematically.

The TFI module could have went out on you. Take it off and have it checked at the parts store.
