I am looking to get the most power I can out of my current combo. I currently have a stock ignition system. What sort of improvements will I see with a MSD distributor and an ignition box. I also have a 70mm MAF. What would a 80mm ProM calibrated for 24lbers do for me? Anyone have any ideas for other mods?

Stock ignitions in these cars are pretty good up to about 300 hp. You would get a few ponies maybe and it would run smoother. That's about it. I wouldn't bother unless you are heavily modded, boostin, or sprayin.

Most ignition boxes benifit people that run Forced induction or Nitrous setups. However, I ran a Crane coil & Box on my stock engine and noticed better throttle response, smoother idle and easier starting...

I see what you guys are saying. What other mods would you guys recommend to get the most power out of the motor? I'm toying around with the notion of nitrous but I don't want to damage anything.

I'm with you. My MSD 6AL and MSD Pro-billet distributor made the car run smoother, feel slightly stronger, and make my exhaust smell less rich (unscientific nose test). I was happy with the results over all.
