Well I been fixing up 66 and the new motor and stuff is in but the underdash wiring is being a pain in my arsss. Well i have the ignition key connected but i am gettting notthing. I am pretty sure that it has to do where the wiring is connected at the firewall to the engine compartment. Here is how I have the wiring connected where the bug plug and neutral safty switch connect inside teh car. I have one of the red/blue wires that from safty swtich connected to the big plug and the other red/blue safety wire going to the main wiring harnnes to the ignition switch and then the light blue/ red wire connected to the 2 black wires and the green/ red wire connected to itself. I believe that is correct but I am still gettting nothing. I have some some of the others wire connect but not all. Is there any other critical wires that are needed so the car can start. All the wiring in the engine compartment is connected except for the alternator, but that shouldn't have anything to do with that. Any help would be great.

Well just try a by-pass. Just do this for a few seconds only to see if you can turn the motor.

Pull the "I" wire off the starter relay and put a jumper wire between that wire and the hot off the battery. Second, use a second jumper wire between the battery and the "S" on the relay terminal.

Something should happen.
