I'm installing a set of BBK shoties w/ a PYPES OR H pipe all connecting to original 40 series Flowmasters. Now my problem is w/ the o2 sensors. I can't seem to get a straight answer as to wheather or not I need a flash tune or MIL eliminators. The car is an 05 4.6 GT. Appreciate your help and experience.

You will need one or the other.... after I installed my Pypes offroad H I had no CEL for about three weeks- then BAM, all of a sudden it came on. Turning off the rear sensors via my tuner took care of it.

Thanx I appreciate your time, do you know where I can get the MILs reasonable? I don't want to invest in a hand held just yet for two reasons 1st, not sure which one is the most versitile, and 2nd, I plan on doing several other changes at which point I know I'll have to re-flash.

i used the MILs on my H pipe before i got the SCT tuner. they worked great. if you ever plan to add a CAI, you will need a tuner anyway, so you might as well get it IF money allows. if not, get the MILS and enjoy the new exhaust note.

While your at brenspeed just get a CIA w/custom tune instead, tell Brent what you got and not only will the CEL go away but you might add 40rwhp
