Im Finally Gettin A Cobra In March 06

I decided to hold off on modding my 02' V6 and Im glad I did because I'm buy a friends 03' Cobra thats modded. This car is SWEET! It has somewhere around 550-600 hp to the rear wheels. I have to wait till March because hes getting the new GT 500 and dosent want to sell it till then so he dosent have to go as long with out a car. Im countin down the days till that baby is mine and I only have 273 day to go.

Im paying 28k for it. Which isnt bad because it has about 10K in mods and has about 30k miles on it.

The mods he has is
15, 10, or the stock 8 lbs of boost
Ported blower
Magnaflow exhaust
3 Chips for different setups
Center force (im not sure how to spell it) clutch
New stronger axel (pretty much indistructible)
A bunch of other engine mods (im not sure of what they are)
And then he has this switch that locks up the front breaks so you can do burnouts easier at the track
He also has this box you put ice in to cool the engine but hes takin it off because he says it dosent work

Damn, I, for one, hope that your parents are paying for it. And two, I certainly hope that your father/mother will have it insured under him/her. Besides that, don't kill yourself when you get it

Im paying for about 8k plus what my cars worth which is some where around 10-12k. Then they're paying for the rest. As insurence goes its definatley under there name and they're paying for that. Im a good driver and responsible one at that I know some of my friends are crazy and I think thats why they held off on a GT or Cobra in the first place just testin me I guess. Only 272 day to go

Id agree there ... lots of GT's around, I don't think I'd get one, but a Cobra, I don't think I could pass that up.

Congrats on the car, can't wait to see some pics.

I'll say it again, 16-17 year old with 600+ hp = bad news.

But if I could have gotten a 600hp Cobra at 17 instead of my GT, I sure as hell would have.
