With so many problems on this board, I thought I'd share a good report!

Well, installing cobra rear brakes, MC and new pads all around, I'm still having the same brake problem as before HOWEVER...

Lately I've been driving and there has not been a lot of power, like my clutch was failing. I went under the car and adjusted the cable as loose as possible and drove it..HOLY CRAP! After nearly 2K on the new 347, I felt its full strength only for the first time yesterday..I was grinning ear to ear like a fool!

When you work on a car, there are so many periods of frustration where you say, "If I didn't have so much money in this car I'd sell the d@mn thing!" But then that moment comes and all is right with the world

Have you upgraded the front brakes already? What problem are you having?

Good news man...I'm in the same situation. After putting my stang back together from this past winter, it's been running awesome. Such a good felling...enjoy

In the front I have the 2K Cobra R Kit (4 Piston Brembo's). I started having a problem where I would be on the brake and they just kind of felt like they were slipping (right at that point where your coming off the break at a stop), plus I flet this kind of metalic grind through the pedel. Inspection revealed that one of my rear calipers had seized so I replaced them with the SN95 rear Cobra brake kit. Replaced the front disks and pads and stainless steel brake lines all around at the same time. The problem persisted, so I replaced the Master Cylinder with a 15/16" version. I like the pedal feel but the problem is still there. A guy from Max Motorsports suggested there might be some grit in the front calipers but I can squeeze hard and compress those pistons with my bare hands so I don't think that could be it. The only thing I haven't replaced are the hard lines and the brake booster. I am at a loss.

After buying my Hoopty in May 05, I am so UNMOTIVATED to do anything to the stang, since I need a new engine anyway. I wanted to plan to do small things in the meantime, but so far Ill I ve done is added wheels spacers, new chrome C/C plates, and painted the calipers.

I need to get back into it.
