I'm sure this has been answered but not feeling the urge to search on this. Perhaps you chaps can answer. About 90% on this.

Acquired a set of used Autometer electric water temp and oil pressure gauges. Came with the sending units but here's the rub.

Water sending unit came with the 1/8 NPT- pretty sure the stock size for the sending unit is 3/8 npt so I need to get a 1/8 to 3/8 NPT adapter? I'll relocate the stock sending unit to the thermostat housing.

I'd like to keep the stock oil pressure gauge working with a T fitting. Autometer sending unit thread is smaller then the stock oil sending unit piece coming out of the block that the stock sending unit screws into. Is the stock 1/8 or 1/4 npt. Anyone have a part #.

in case anyone else needs it

water temp is 3/8 NPT and needed a 1/8 to 3/8
Oil pressure sendinng extension is 1/4 npt and needed a 1/4 tee with a 1/4 to 1/8 npt reducer for the autometer sending unit

Water temp sender needs to be in the intake so it will read accurately. If its in the thermostat housing the temp will read colder whenever the stat is closed.

That's exactly what I had to do when I installedmine. All the parts were at home depot for under 10 dollars

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
