I'm so jealous!! My girlfriend's car will be faster than mine! Check this combo!

My girlfriend decided to order a TrickFlow package for the motor we pulled out of her parts car. All this is going into her 90 GT in a few months, including a swap to a T5. What do you guys think of this setup? Talk about performance for a budget!
Trick Flow matched kit includes:
Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads
Alumn. Roller rockers
Trick Flow Track Heat upper and lower intakes
Trick Flow cam
Timing set
Also comes with Trick Flow polished aluminum valve covers, pushrods and all gaskets and hardware
This kit is only 2100$, 360 hp and 370 tq with a 190lph pump and a 306 with 9.5 compression.

Then later, she's getting 24# injectors,70 mm TB, and a C&L maf.

Of course, all this came from the mastermind (me!), so I guess it's my own doings.
I'm hoping for mid to high 12's from this combo with a 5 speed and slicks.
Think I'll make it?

I don't doubt that she will be plenty fast, but why is it faster than your 351? Your car weighs less, your engine weighs a little more than hers but the power should still put you ahead. Of course that depends on your engine mods which I know little of. Also in your other thread, you say you've beaten ls1 fbodies but you might be slower than this?

I'm just trying to piece it together here, not knocking you or your car.

jk, that is a great deal, good look with the ETs...with traction you should have 12s no problem.

Well if for now she's not going to be upgrading the injectors, maf, or tb I'd at least get a AFPR to crank up the line pressure to those 19 lb injectors.

It'll be fast hopefully the t-5 can hold up to the slicks.

Just drop in a stroker 351W motor in your car. If 406" doesnt do the trick, a stroker big block certainly will. When you have cubes, you don't need much else.

Very good point considering a regular T-5 is rated to 330hp

on the stroker 351 thing. My buddy gary has a 351 stroked to like 418. Hes dynoed at like 675 so alls ya gotta do is tell her its a 351. STROKE IT!!!!!!!

No offense to your 00, but I think the 360hp Trickflow kit will make her car just "a little bit faster" (sarcasm) than 13.45.
