I'm so lost.... help me out.

if your timing is set at 10* base......i would bring the #1 cylinder to TDC, and make sure the rotor button was pointing to the wire running to the #1 cylinder, it sounds like you have the firing order rotated about a post around on the cap..........you did do the firing order in counter clockwise rotation etc. right.........

not trying to insult etc....just trying to help solve your problem

dont worry bro I know your just trying to help. That is actually exactly what we did. We found TDC and when we checked the rotor was facing the #1 terminal like it should be.

So did one morning you just went out to ur car and it wouldnt start? Or did you do work to it and now it wont start. We need a little background here.

Well we had to change my HB because it had spun, but after we did that the car ran great (better than it ever has) for one day. Then the next day it wouldnt start at all.

instead of just replacing parts, try troubleshooting. Im sure you dont want to be a mechanic, but there is a difference between a parts changer and a technician. Dont be that guy known as the parts changer. Get a multimeter and start checking things. If everything is checking out good, then look at the timing chain itself. Like someone said, you may have slipped it.

a couple things ,first have someone turn it over in a dark garage at night while you inspect it for shorts..you could even mist the wires and the ditributor cap....if you see some serious jumping, that can be throwing you computer for a loop. next i would pull a plug attach the wire back to it and ground the plug...get a real look at the spark...my only other guess is a small module next to the throttle body that controls idle...when those go so does the engine running

if the plugs are so soaked that you can see fuel, they are fouled. clean them. also, on foxes (i dont want to wrongly assume something is the same on your cars), one can floor the gas pedal while (AND ONLY WHILE) cranking - this will kill the injector pulse (to clear a flood condition).

assuming the injectors are in phase (firing when they should) and the firing order is right (whoever suggested that if he has spark, the TFI and PIP should be fine, is correct), that sorta leaves the spark timing being off. any changes lately? has the dizzy hold down come loose? i would put an inductive timing light on plug one and see if it lights the balancer where it should (~10*).

good luck.
